If this is a new term for you, you might be wondering what an instructional designer does. Well, let me tell you: we are the people who design learning experiences that you enjoy and remember (for all the good reasons). Think of instructional designers as translators of text-based learning content into exciting and memorable experiences. We work with experts in topics that we do not always understand, and we design learning with them, ensuring that it is planned, structured and presented in the most efficient and memorable way. In other words, we use our skills and experience of learning theory/practice to help you learn better, faster and more efficiently. We aim to help you make the most out of a learning experience.

Our work is varied and it can range from designs for face-to-face corporate training, all the way to bespoke e-learning, software training, or online academic courses. Where there is a learning need, there is a space for an instructional designer.
